Things get worse for the Biden administration as Covid mandates continue to impact the economy negatively. For months Republicans have warned the Biden administration that pushing vaccine mandates would hurt the economy and make it difficult for businesses to bounce back from the pandemic. However, the Biden administration doubled down on their vaccine stance in September by requiring all businesses with over 100 employees to mandate vaccines or face significant penalties. Many Democrats have mocked right-wingers as they saw the mandates as an opportunity to slam-dunk on conservatives.
The mood may be changing a bit for some Democrats as some are beginning to realize these mandates may be doing more than just hurting Trump-backing conservatives. Fox Business reports, four Democrat Governors are now pushing back on President Biden’s mandates. Kansas Governor Laura Kelly, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Colorado Governor Jared Polis, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer have broken away from their party concerning Covid policies and mandates. The four governors sight that the mandates work on the local level.
